Jacob "Jake" Partee
Jacob “Jake” Partee is an Illinois-based nonprofit leader, community advocate, entrepreneur, and public servant dedicated to improving access to mental health resources, community support services, and civic engagement throughout Central Illinois.
Jake is the Founder and Board President of Central Illinois Resource Center Inc, a nonprofit organization focused on mental health awareness, homelessness prevention, food insecurity support, and peer-based community outreach. Through the organization, Jake has helped develop community initiatives, resource fairs, support programs, volunteer opportunities, and public education campaigns designed to connect individuals and families with meaningful assistance and local resources.
In addition to nonprofit leadership, Jake is also the Founder of Speak Out Illinois LLC, a community-focused initiative centered around advocacy, public awareness, and connecting individuals with educational and support resources. His work often focuses on transparency, accountability, and ensuring community members feel heard and supported.
Jake is a Sworn Notary Public in the State of Illinois and holds certifications in CPR & First Aid, Mental Health First Aid Response, Fundamentals of Domestic Violence, and Dementia Care. These certifications reflect his continued commitment to public service, crisis awareness, safety preparedness, and compassionate community support.
Beyond advocacy work, Jake also operates businesses in the technology and service industries, providing technology support, consulting, and community-centered business solutions. His professional background includes customer service, operations management, and organizational leadership across both nonprofit and private-sector environments.
Jake is passionate about building collaborative partnerships between nonprofits, healthcare providers, local governments, schools, and community organizations to create sustainable support systems for underserved populations. His work regularly includes organizing public events, coordinating outreach initiatives, developing educational campaigns, and advocating for stronger community resources across Illinois.
Known for his direct communication style and grassroots approach to leadership, Jake believes that real community impact starts with listening to people, responding with compassion, and taking action where help is needed most.
Outside of his professional and advocacy work, Jake enjoys technology, time with his family, creative projects, hiking, swimming and going to the gym. Jake currently resides in Tazewell County, Illinois with His Beagle, Snoopy.
